Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 September 2026 · Applies to all users of compvault.com.au and compvault.alpevox.ai
Important — please read carefully
ComplianceVault is a record-keeping and reminder tool only. It is not a substitute for legal, compliance, or HR advice, and using it does not by itself guarantee that your organisation meets any legal or regulatory obligation.
1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ComplianceVault ("ComplianceVault", "we", "our", or "us"), a product of Alpevox, including our website and dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2.Nature of Service
ComplianceVault is a software tool that helps businesses store, track, and manage expiry dates for employee and contractor compliance documents, and to send reminders before those documents expire.
ComplianceVault is a record-keeping and reminder tool only. It does not provide legal, compliance, workplace health and safety, or human resources advice, and using it does not by itself ensure that you meet any legal, regulatory, or contractual obligation.
3.Not Legal or Compliance Advice
Nothing provided through ComplianceVault — including status calculations, dashboards, reports, or reminder emails — constitutes legal advice or a determination that your organisation is compliant with any law, regulation, licence condition, or contract.
You remain solely responsible for determining which documents your organisation is legally required to hold, for the accuracy of the data and documents you upload, and for taking appropriate action before or after a document expires. You should seek independent legal or professional advice where required.
4.User Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, for the accuracy of the information and documents you or your organisation upload, and for keeping expiry dates and document types up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behaviour.
5.Reminders and Notifications
ComplianceVault runs an automated daily check that flags upcoming and expired documents and sends reminder emails. While we operate this process to a high standard of reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery — factors outside our control, such as email provider outages or incorrect contact details, can prevent a reminder from being received.
You should not rely on ComplianceVault reminders as your only safeguard against a document lapsing.
6.Subscription and Payments
New organisations receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires an active Starter, Growth, or Scale subscription.
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel or manage your subscription at any time from your account’s Billing page.
Plans are priced on document storage, not document count. We will provide a soft warning before you reach your storage limit; new uploads are blocked once the limit is reached until you upgrade or free up space.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
7.Acceptable Use
You may not use ComplianceVault to store data you do not have the right to hold, attempt to circumvent storage or access limits, or use the service in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden it.
We reserve the right to suspend access for any account found to be abusing the service or violating these terms.
8.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplianceVault and Alpevox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to a document lapsing, a missed or undelivered reminder, or a regulatory or contractual consequence resulting from expired or missing documentation.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
9.Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of ComplianceVault — including software, design, and branding — are owned by Alpevox and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Data you upload remains your property.
10.Governing Law
ComplianceVault is operated by Alpevox, a business registered in Australia (ABN 20 936 383 033). These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
11.Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
12.Contact
